Callertones replace the standard ringing tone that people hear when they call your phone, with music, comedy or sound effects. Your callers will still hear ringing in the background. Callertones are available to anyone with a Telstra mobile phone.
What is the difference between a Ring Tone and a Callertone?
A Callertone is what callers hear when they call you and are waiting for you to answer. Callers will hear the Callertone that you have chosen for them. A Ring Tone is what you hear when people call you. It is downloaded to your phone. The Callertone is set in Telstra's network, rather than being downloaded to your phone.
